Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nevada is a separate and independent Licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, a trade group with membership including stand alone, locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans. With Blue Cross Blue Shield local provider groups licensed throughout the USA, BCBS provides high quality health insurance to more than 25% of all Americans. Blue Cross and Blue Shield has provided high quality and reasonable health insurance and benefits for more than seventy (70) years.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield provides a variety of insurance solutions throughout the United States. Depending on your state, BCBS provides HMO (health maintenance organization), PPO (negotiated network) plans, combined PPO and Health Savings Account (HSA) plans, and Indemnity plans (non-network coverage). These plans (with regional changes) will be available on either a group basis to employers for their employees or available as individual or family plans or, in some regions, as both group and individual plans. For seniors, and depending on your state, BCBS offers various plans, including non-network and national Medicare supplemental insurance and BCBS-in-network (local) Medicare supplemental insurance.
